JavaScript Job: GRAPHIC DESIGNER - LISBON

Kelly Services is recruiting Graphic Designer for an international reference group that operates in several activity sectors in the Lisbon area.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals;
• Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately;
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity;
• Study design briefs and determine requirements;
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints;
• Create and develop graphic design for different communication and business support pieces;
• Develop, among others, the overall layout and production design for packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc;
• Post-production of images and final artwork;
• Monitoring of production and assembly;
• Work with stakeholders to produce final design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts. Photography is a plus;
• 3 years work experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency;
• Proficiency in English;
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong and diverse portfolio;
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design;
• Have a clear understanding of the trends and the social media landscape;
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript;
• Advanced expertise in the use of graphics applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other graphic design software;
• Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems a plus;
• Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software;
• A keen eye for aesthetics, details and for visual composition;
• Creativity;
• Customer-centric mindset and enthusiastic about design work within a corporate environment, generating new ideas, and striving for constant growth;
• Effective communication and organization skills;
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
